Spinach and Corn Savourytart

  • 75ml (2.5 fldoz) Milk.
  • 1 Can whole kernel Corn (drain water).
  • 250ml (8.5 fldoz) Cheddar cheese grated.
  • 15ml (.50 fldoz) Sunflower oil.
  • 5ml (.17fldoz) Mustard powder.
  • 4 Eggs.
  • 2 Rashers bacon fine chopped.
  • 1 Packet Royco Thick vegetable Soup.
  • 2 Cups washed and chopped spinach.
  • 1 Onion finely chopped.


Heat oil and sauté onion and bacon. Add spinach and fry until soft. In a large bowl mix together soup powder, milk, mustard, eggs and 125ml (4.2fldoz) cheese. Add Spinach mixture and corn and pour into a greased 25cm (10")  flat dish. Top up with remaining cheese and bake at 190ºC | 375º F for +- 30 minutes.
